I am over the moon about today. Seriously one of the most enjoyable days of my life. Everything was perfect from the weather to the company. John was a total joy and was so interesting and knowledgeable and certainly not dry. The Clava Cairns are a truly spiritual experience with the time of year we went. Can’t think when I last enjoyed myself so much.

The escapism actually made me feel so relaxed that I could literally just shut my eyes and go to sleep. I liked it all but the Cairns was the nicest bit for me as it was so peaceful.
And ofcourse the donkey we saw!

What to expect:
16th JAnuary
- Arrive 9.30am > Introductions > Warm up walk > Tea/coffees> Culloden battlefield tour > Lunch > Clava Cairn and Viaduct exploration
You will need:
- Reasonable fitness to manage a 8 mile tour which includes hills (we will take plenty of breaks)
- Sense of humour
- Be willing to engage in all activities and have an open mind
- Rucksack, waterproofs, walking boots
All specific details will be provided upon booking

The walks give me an opportunity to relax from the stresses of a demanding job and give me time to relax, connect with nature and other people.
